Who We Are
At Valeo, we don't just anticipate the future of mobility—we design and build it. Our Czechowice-Dziedzice site is a fast-growing, multi-product R&D hub where complex mechatronic systems meet highly automated manufacturing lines. To secure total engineering precision for our high-voltage e-Motor architectures, we are seeking a methodical, cross-functional eMotor Platform Requirements Engineer to anchor our core R&D project team.
What You’ll Do (The Tasks & Responsibilities)
As the Requirements Engineer, you hold formal responsibility for the complete lifecycle of product requirements, ensuring every team member develops with absolute clarity and complete traceability.
Own the External & Legal Baseline: Take formal responsibility for capturing, structuring, and managing all incoming external requirements, including mandatory legal, system, and auxiliary constraints.
Eliminate Technical Contradictions: Proactively identify and resolve conflicting targets by driving alignment between the customer, Project Management, and our multi-disciplinary engineering specialists (Mechanical, Electrical, Test, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality).
Drive Complete Traceability: Establish, correct, and maintain rigorous bi-directional traceability mapping external requirements down to system-level and e-Motor component-level targets using professional requirements management and AI tools.
Orchestrate Discipline Commitments: Assign external requirements to engineering disciplines in strict alignment with the Product Technical Leader (PTL), ensuring that core experts deliver highly accurate feasibility feedback on time.
Deliver RequirementsDocumentation: Generate, review, and formally release crucial Requirement Specifications and verification documentation ahead of all project development milestones.
Act as the Single Technical Window: Embed yourself within the core R&D project team to serve as the single, authoritative point of contact regarding requirements for the customer, the system group, and the e-Motor development team.
Secure Process Audits: Support the engineering network during internal and external process compliance audits to validate execution quality and requirement tracking.
Who You Are (Qualifications & Profile)
The Education: You have successfully completed a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related automotive technical field.
The Experience: You possess a professional experience in the development of electric drives or systems within vehicle technology. Dedicated experience in Requirements Engineering is highly advantageous.
The Toolkit: You are comfortable working inside a V-Model development framework utilizing professional requirements engineering tools (such as Polarion, DOORS, or equivalent configuration networks) and advanced AI tools.
The Mindset: You possess exceptional communication, cooperation, and team building skills, allowing you to confidently drive tasks forward across multiple corporate boundaries.
The Languages: You are highly proficient in English (German is an asset), allowing you to smoothly interface with premium OEMs, local engineering groups, and global competence hubs.
Why Join Valeo?
Total Technical Impact: You hold the baseline definition for next-generation electric powertrains, directly influencing how parts materialize from drawing board to the vehicle assembly line.
Where R&D Meets the Shop Floor: Work right alongside state-of-the-art high-voltage prototype centers and automated assembly rows.
Premium Local Benefits: Full access to private medical care (Medicover), comprehensive health and life packages, premium sports/cultural network cards, and an excellent on-site facility.
