The Data Analyst Intern support the Aeroderivative Engines team in data analysis and process improvement activities. The intern will assist in managing internal databases, developing tools, and preparing reports that support the full project lifecycle—from early tendering phases to final customer delivery.
This internship offers the opportunity to work in a technical and international environment, building strong analytical and organizational skills within the aeroderivative engines domain.
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Support the update and maintenance of the GTE Aero Engines database.
- Contribute to the creation of standard reports and dashboards for project support.
- Collaborate in the improvement of processes and data‑driven tools used by the team.
- Analyze large datasets, transforming them into meaningful KPIs for internal stakeholders.
- Assist in presenting data insights to Project Managers and cross-functional teams.
- Participate in performance monitoring activities related to aeroderivative engines.
- Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements
- Learning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders
- Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained

- Undergraduate or recent graduate in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields.
- Good knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, or similar).

- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with different internal stakeholders.
- Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written).

The fixed allowance for this position will be between this range: 600 - 1000 € gross monthly.
The allowance will be established in accordance with criteria related to the candidate’s academic status and their distance from the workplace.
