The Role
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Paris based Investment Banking Executive Director who will be actively involved in the sales and marketing activity for our key Corporate relationships within the EU from a derivatives risk management perspective. Some institutional sales experience would be advantageous.
They will partner closely with Senior Rates and FX sales, Banking RMs, as well trading, structuring and other support partners to provide comprehensive risk management services to Wells Fargo's corporate and financial sponsor clients.
In this role, you will:
  • Analyse and identify and financial risk for a customer and offer derivative based solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with structuring, trading and banking to provide creative solutions for customers.
  • Provide a wide variety of task such as analyse, aggregate, and present materials for the marketing of Interest Rate and FX derivative products.
  • Perform tasks in support of transactions, price and execute Interest Rate and Fx transactions directly with clients.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with Investment Banking functional area or who are affected by its outcomes.
  • Provide daily front office support functions, including, but not limited to trade processing and responding to customer service requests collaborate and consult to develop client pitch materials and deal documents.
  • Generate Interest Rate and Fx market updates as relevant for client engagement.
  • Drive constant process improvement and find efficiencies across the platform.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory rules, for example MiFID, EMIR, Dodd Frank etc.
  • Adhering to the risk fundamentals and appropriately escalating any conduct and risk issues to senior management.
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience in Investment Banking, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Established relationships with EU corporate clients and the ability to generate business through new relationships.
  • Extensive years of Securities Sales experience preferably in markets derivative
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy (default)
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills (default)
  • Strong interest in financial markets (in particular interest rates and foreign exchange) and derivatives
  • Demonstrated proficiency in handling multiple projects and deadlines
  • Energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and to communicate effectively internally and externally
Job Expectations:
This position is deemed to be a Certified Person function under the FCA and PRA Certification Regime. You must at all times remain fit and proper to perform your role, and this will be assessed on at least an annual basis.

Wells Fargo cherche à pourvoir un poste de directeur exécutif, de la banque d'investissement, basé à Paris. Vous collaborerez étroitement avec les commerciaux seniors de l'équipe Marché Taux et FX, avec les chargés de clientèles de l'équipe Banque d'investissement, ainsi qu'avec des partenaires du trading, de la structuration et autres partenaires des équipes supports, afin de fournir des services complets de gestion des risques aux clients de Wells Fargo , clients Corporates et clients investisseurs financiers.
Dans le cadre de ce poste, vous aurez les attributions suivantes :
  • Analyser et identifier les risques financiers pour les clients et leur proposer des solutions basées sur des produits dérivés.
  • Travailler en collaboration avec les partenaires en structuration, en négociation et en services bancaires pour fournir des solutions créatives aux clients.
  • Mener à bien une grande variété de tâches, comme l'analyse, l'agrégation et la présentation de documents destinés au marketing des produits dérivés liés aux taux d'intérêt et aux marchés de change.
  • Effectuer des tâches à l'appui des transactions ; interagir directement avec les clients pour la tarification et l'exécution des transactions liées aux taux d'intérêt et aux marchés de change.
  • Impliquer et influencer les parties prenantes, les partenaires internes et les pairs associés au segment fonctionnel de la banque d'investissementou qui sont impactéspar ses résultats.
  • S'acquitter tous les jours de fonctions de soutien dans la salle des marchés, y compris veiller, notamment, à traiter les transactions et à répondre aux demandes de service à la clientèle, ainsi qu'à collaborer avec les partenaires et les consulter pour élaborer des supports de présentation et des documents transactionnels destinés aux clients.
  • Générer des mises à jour sur les marchés de change et les taux d'intérêt qui sont pertinentes à l'engagement des clients.
  • Améliorer constamment les processus et identifier des façons de rationaliser la plateforme dans son ensemble.
  • Veiller au respect de toutes les règles réglementaires applicables, comme la Directive concernant les marchés d'instruments financiers (MiFID), le Règlement européen sur les infrastructures de marché (EMIR), la loi Dodd Frank , etc.
  • Respecter les principes fondamentaux du risque et communiquer tout problème lié à la conduite et aux risques à l'équipe de direction de manière appropriée.
Qualifications requises :
  • Expérience en services bancaires d'investissement ou expérience équivalente sous l'une ou l'autre des formes suivantes : expérience professionnelle, formation, expérience militaire,.
  • Relations établies avec les entreprises clientes de l'UE et capacité à générer des affaires par l'entremise de nouvelles relations.
  • Longues années d'expérience dans la vente de titres, de préférence en lien avec les produits dérivés.
  • Fortes compétences analytiques et souci prononcé du détail et de la précision.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication orale, écrite et interpersonnelle.
  • Intérêt marqué pour les marchés financiers (plus précisément en lien avec les taux d'intérêt et les opérations de change) et les produits dérivés.
  • Maîtrise avérée de la gestion d'échéanciers et de projets multiples.
  • Capacité à s'autodéterminer de façon énergique et savoir faire preuve de flexibilité, d'organisation, de proactivité, et d'une attitude consciencieuse.
  • Capacité à travailler dans un environnement dynamique et à communiquer efficacement tant à l'interne qu'à l'externe.
Attentes relatives au poste :
Vous devez être titulaire de la certification AMF let rester à tout moment apte à exercer votre poste, ce qui sera évalué au moins une fois par an.
Ce poste requiert également l'obtention, au sein de l'entité WFSE, de la carte professionnelle « négociateur d'instruments financiers » de l'AMF.
