Job Description:
Interprets regulations affecting the operation of the organization (including distributors) and implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and regulatory reporting requirements in support of process compliance and product quality. Process, conduct and track investigations and compliance audits. Oversees compliance program and promotes compliant culture. Responsible for compliance reporting and training. Requires Juris Doctor degree (or local country equivalent), admittance to local legal body (e.g., state bar or country bar) or a paralegal certificate.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years’ experience in Law OR International business is preferred (or equivalent). The years of experience must be in import and export operations and/or global trade compliance related roles.
- Experience analyzing and interpreting export and import rules and regulations.
- Fluent in Finish and English (any other language will be a plus)
- Working knowledge of export regulations related to denied party screening, export licensing, trade sanctions and embargoes plus direct experience working with global trade management software platforms (ERP, Global Trade Management, and Business Intelligence).
- Dual Use regulations including, but not limited to, 428/2009, export Control Classification Number (ECCN) and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) thorough knowledge of EU customs and export control regulations.
- Availability to go on site minimum two times per week and as needed.
