What will you be doing?
EMEA Central Operations is a team of Project and Programme managers focused on the delivery of strategic change. We foster a culture that drives business transformation and delivers tangible value — for ourselves, our teams, Circana, and our clients.
As a project manager you will be responsible for leading, planning and driving progress in the delivery of strategic projects to an agreed schedule within the programme
Job Responsibilities
- Project management of several strategic initiatives across Europe, which could involve working across all business groups and all levels, from country manager to offshore resources, across all countries globally, and with some clients.
- Supporting IRI business groups to improve efficiency or drive revenue growth using quality and process management tools
- Scoping and definition of small process improvement projects
- Managing projects through the project lifecycle from definition to delivery and transition to business as usual, including change management.
- Ensure successful delivery of assigned projects to the required quality, cost and timeliness targets at a country, client, or functional level
- Definition and agreement of completion strategy to ensure responsibility is transitioned to the relevant process owner with the appropriate control mechanisms in place
- Problem solving and creative thinking to solve business issues and plans to support project risk mitigation
- Practicing and embedding best practice principles for project and process quality management across the organisation and providing support to other project managers in Europe to achieve business goals
- Regular business reporting on projects, programme status to support International/global reporting requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Proven experience in people, process, project, and change management
- Strong project management knowledge (formal qualification such as APMP, PMP, PRINCE2 would be highly desirable)
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and delegation skills
- Solutions driven with proven problem-solving skills with a flexible and logical approach
- Ability to cut through complexity to move things forward, manage uncertainty and objectively challenge decisions to achieve the results for the organisation
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Self-motivated, accountable, and committed with well-developed decision-making skills
- Strong team player with the ability to promote and foster strong working relationships across countries and functions
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a virtual team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – ability to lead, influence and motivate across the organisation and with all key stakeholders
- Ability to recognise and proactively communicate potential issues, taking ownership for resolution and/or escalating as appropriate
- Strong facilitation and collaboration skills
- Willingness to travel within Europe as dictated by project needs
- Client or 3rd party contact may be required depending on project allocation
