Your Role
- Helping to develop and test SW modules for VxWorks as well as HVP helping Wind River to grow in its role in new embedded and enterprise market segments
- Take the initiative to improve features and processes
- Contribute ideas for product improvements and iterations
- Collaborate effectively with global software engineering teams
- Drive Innovations in the team such as reusability, efficiency, best-known-methods etc
- Good programming skills in Embedded C, C++
- Knowledge and experience of any RTOS (QNX, VxWorks, FreeRTOS, Linux, etc.) is mandatory
- Experience working with HW Targets(ARM, Intel). Knowledge in CPU, MMU, Cache, Interrupts, DMA, ADC/DAC, EEPROM, PWM, Watchdog Timers, and other embedded peripherals
- Experience in communication protocol USB, UART, Nexus Bus, Simple Bus etc
- Experience in programming, analyzing, and debugging kernel crash dumps Knowledge on integration and defect fixes 3PP packages like Python, Libcurl etcAct
Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
- BE/BTech or ME/MTech degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
- Strong in Embedded C/ C++, SW development Fundamentals.
- Development experience of 4-6 years in RTOS over various HW targets (Intel, ARM architecture)
- Good understanding of automation tools, GIT
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical and debugging skills
- Experience in scripting language e.g., Python
- CICD knowledge and familiarity with Gerrit workflow
- Proven technical credentials including Patents/Publications/Whitepaper
- Excellent communication / presentation skills, Energetic, self-Motivated, and proactive work style
