Your new job
We’re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who wants to solve complex, real-world problems to make life at home simpler. Join us on our journey as we level up our technology to enhance everyday experiences. Your focus will be on Home Smart, and you’ll report to the Team Manager of the Embedded team. The impact of your work will touch homes and hearts around the world. On a typical day, you will:
Collaborate with cloud and mobile teams to deliver a seamless smart home experience.
Develop and integrate new features for our Linux-based Home Smart gateway.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues across Matter, Thread, Wi-Fi and cloud services.
Analyze logs and protocol traces to solve complex interoperability problems.
Automate tests and improve the reliability and performance of the platform.
Qualifications
What we’d like you to bring to the table
The role as an Embedded Software Engineer requires you to:
Have a broad background within software, spanning from architecture, design and requirements to coding and testing.
Have experience working with Embedded Linux, C++, networking and IoT
Be a flexible but structured team player with great communications skills, both written and verbal.
It’s a plus if you also have:
Experience working on a variety of systems in different industries.
Experience from areas such as Yocto, ZigBee, Matter, WIFI, IPv6, cyber security, hardware bring-up and OTA
