Are you an email marketing pro who knows how to connect the right message to the right audience at the right time? GAINSCO is seeking an Email Marketing Manager to drive the end-to-end design, execution, and optimization of engaging B2B email communications, campaigns, and automated programs. As the product owner for our email platform, you’ll manage an ecosystem that drives engagement and business results that support the independent agent lifecycle.

What does the Email Marketing Manager do?
  • Design, build, test, and deploy email campaigns, landing pages, forms, and automated nurture programs.
  • Manage segmentation, targeting, and list hygiene for personalized campaign delivery.
  • Execute A/B and multivariate tests to optimize subject lines, CTAs, creative, and send times.
  • Ensure compliance with email regulations (CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR) and brand standards.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to align messaging and campaign strategies.
  • Maintain database integrity through cleansing, de-duplication, and enrichment.
  • Build dashboards and recurring reports to track KPIs and campaign performance.
  • Analyze results, extract insights, and recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Conduct audits of campaigns, automation rules, and lead management processes.
  • Serve as primary administrator for Pardot (Salesforce Account Engagement) and related integrations.
  • Maintain system documentation, naming conventions, and governance standards.
  • Monitor CRM sync, troubleshoot errors, and coordinate resolutions.
  • Train team members on platform features and best practices.
  • Stay current on MarTech trends and identify automation opportunities for efficiency and scalability.
What is required?

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferred focus in Marketing, Communications, or Business is required.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8+ years in email marketing or marketing automation, preferably B2B.
  • Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience with Pardot, including campaign building and automation.
  • Advanced HTML coding skills for responsive email templates.
  • Proven experience owning a marketing automation platform end-to-end.
  • Expertise in segmentation, targeting, and lifecycle journey design.
  • Proficiency in Pardot, Salesforce CRM, and QA tools (Litmus, Email on Acid).

Other skills and abilities:

  • Familiarity with agile marketing practices and project management tools (Asana).
  • Strong analytical ability to interpret campaign results and optimize performance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
