Job Title: Email Developer 

Reports To: Senior Global Automation Platform Manager 

Location: Manila, Philippines

What this role is: 

You will own the foundational email templates in Taxi for Email utilizing Liquid, HTML, and CSS which send through Eloqua automations, from SFDC CRM data integrations.  

 

This role requires a partnership with stakeholders, to help build Genesys branded automated email campaigns with a focus on understanding of contact routing, quality assurance, and email automation execution. Our email team supports 100+ global marketers and their campaigns for email nurture, RSS automations, digital and physical events. 

 

What this role isn’t: 

This is not campaign strategy 

 

What you’ll bring to the table: 

To be successful, you need to have a mind for technical details, and patience for thorough QA. It is important that this candidate have a strong eye for detail, and strong desire to solve technical rendering email errors. 

 

Also note that as a member of a global team, tracking progress with peers, and documenting template updates for stakeholders will be vital for success in this role.  

 

Some details about what you will do: 

  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop and maintain branded HTML email templates for stakeholder use. 

  • Develop HTML/CSS, Liquid code for global email system updates, brand changes, or QA fixes for existing rendering errors. 

  • QA using personal devices and Litmus email tools 

 

 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Computer Science 

  • Past hands-on experience with developing HTML and CSS for email 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to concisely explain complex concepts 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 3-7 years of Marketing Automation platform experience in an enterprise ESP such as Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or IBM Watson 

  • Familiarity with liquid code 

  • Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, etc. 

  • Experience working within the fast-paced environment of a global company
