Overview
We’re looking for a self-professed email nerd to join us as an Email Developer. You’re a rockstar email developer who thrives on building personalized and effective email experiences that stand out in the inbox. You’ll work with designers, writers, strategists, and other developers to code pixel-perfect responsive email campaigns, templates, and design systems. Though we have a work from almost anywhere framework, this role works east coast hours.

Responsibilities  

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize fully responsive modular email templates
  • Translate complex user stories into highly personalized emails using ampscript 
  • Perform thorough quality assurance to ensure campaigns render error-free across email clients and devices via Email on Acid and Litmus
  • Provide guidance as a SME on email technologies and capabilities
  • Work collaboratively with other developers and QA Specialist to create efficiencies in process

Qualifications/Experience 

  • 4+ years of experience custom-coding, testing, and deploying email campaigns
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, XD, and Figma (capable of converting creative design to pixel-perfect HTML/CSS)
  • Proven experience coding campaigns with complex dynamic content 
  • Thorough understanding of email principles and email best practices (A/B testing, dynamic content, campaign automation, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing deadlines and obtaining necessary approvals
  • Proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder experience is a plus!)
  • Experience with dynamic email campaigns and ampscript functionalities
  • Experience working with API frameworks

As required by law, Shift Paradigm provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, New Jersey or Washington. The salary range for these residents is $60,000.00 to $75,000.00. Salary is based on several factors including but not limited to role, skillset, relevant education, level of experience, certifications, etc. In addition to base salary, Shift Paradigm offers benefits such as medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD, Life/AD&D, Flexible Paid Time Off, and various other ancillary benefits and perks.
