Job DescriptionLow Voltage Engineer (ELV)
Minimum 5-8 Years’ Experience in the field of Detail Design Consultant (DDC), EPC, verification, and validations of site works etc. for Airport and Railways, Residential, Commercial, Industrial Building.
Essential Responsibilities: - Engineer– Electronics Component will be responsible for following:
- Preparing design as per the design standards (NFPA, IS, NBC, BS, SBC, International Standard, and benchmarking client’s
- Designing ELV system like FDAS, BMS, TICS, SMS, IBMS, TMCS, CCTV, ACS, Surveillance System, VESDA etc.
- Having Basic knowledge of Modelling, Drafting, detailing and coordination's using latest BIM software's like Revit-MEP, Navisworks, BIM360, AutoCAD and also good knowledge and coordination capability of multi trades like HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting. Following the National and International Codes & Standards as ASHRAE, SMACNA, IPC, NBC, NFPA, IEC, IEEE, IS, IEC etc.
- Ensure schedule and cost considerations are included in design decisions, while maintaining primary responsibility to assure safe and appropriate quality designs.
- Preparation of Equipment Schedules and Bill of Quantities and contractor bill verification.
- Responsible for completion of projects within his/her team to time and cost.
- Undertake and mange liaison with System engineers, third parties and specialist system suppliers and incorporate their requirements in the detail design.
- Authors technical reports of acceptable technical and presentational quality Able to present their work and represent their colleagues on the project in presentations and meetings.
- Good report writing skills, experience of making presentations to and attending meetings with clients is essential.
