At Bloq.it, we’ve created the world’s leading smart locker solution. Solving online deliveries by enabling everyone to participate easily, reducing delivery costs and making them more sustainable.
We’re quickly expanding, and after growing at 1000% for three years in a row, we’re now the fastest-growing Smart Locker company in the world and one of the fastest growing scale-ups in Europe.
We are in search of an Electronics Engineer to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in owning the feedback loop between our deployed fleet and our engineering teams, ensuring that field and production failures drive real, systemic improvements in our hardware platform.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations on hardware failures identified in the deployed fleet, defining and executing structured fault isolation methodologies for electronics and embedded failures
Document findings and drive corrective actions across R&D, Electronics, and Embedded teams
Develop tools, jig tests and set ups for components test/validation and debugging
Repair critical components
Track and report reliability KPIs for the deployed equipment fleet, identifying trends and systemic issues before they reach the field
Provide structured design-for-repairability (DFR) and design-for-testability (DFT) feedback to R&D based on field data
Contribute to FMEA reviews and reliability risk assessments for new product versions
Support DVT/EVT/PVT build phases with test coverage analysis and failure mode documentation
Collaborate with Industrialization and Production teams to close quality loops between field findings and manufacturing processes
What you’ll bring to the table:
Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
3+ years of hands-on experience in electronics hardware, including PCB/PCBA design, bring-up, or validation
Solid understanding of electronics fault isolation and root cause analysis methodologies
Familiarity with reliability engineering concepts: FMEA, failure mode analysis, KPI reporting
Strong documentation discipline — you close the loop and leave a traceable record
Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate technical findings clearly to engineering and operations stakeholders
It would be great if you would also have:
Experience with embedded systems — firmware bring-up, microcontroller debugging, or low-level protocols (UART, SPI, I2C), ideally on IoT hardware platforms or connected product ecosystems
Experience in NPI processes (EVT/DVT/PVT build phases) and working with EMS or ODM manufacturing partners
Knowledge of HALT/HASS testing methodologies
