TEi Construction Services is seeking experienced Electrical Terminators to support industrial construction and maintenance projects nationwide. This position is responsible for terminating, testing, troubleshooting, and connecting power, control, and instrumentation cables while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Essential Responsibilities
- Terminate low voltage power cables (up to 600V).
- Install and terminate control, instrumentation, and communication cables.
- Install cable glands, lugs, connectors, and termination kits.
- Connect electrical equipment including motors, transformers, switchgear, control panels, and lighting systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Perform continuity checks, insulation resistance testing, and circuit verification.
- Troubleshoot and resolve wiring and termination issues.
- Follow all safety requirements, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of industrial electrical experience.
- Experience terminating power, control, and instrumentation cables.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics.
- Working knowledge of electrical testing equipment and procedures.
- Ability to travel and work overtime as project demands require.
Preferred Qualifications
- NCCER Electrical certification.
- Journeyman Electrician credential or equivalent experience.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Experience in power generation, manufacturing, pulp and paper, refinery, or other industrial environments.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and perform physically demanding work in industrial environments.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in varying weather conditions.
