POSITION SUMMARY
The Product Engineer maintains and enhances power products and systems, including MV products, ensuring they meet company standards and customer needs. Key duties include working with engineering, service, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with other engineering divisions in defining product specifications.
- Assist the testing team with developing test plans and evaluating test results.
- Prepare technical documentation as required by established processes, including drawings and component specifications.
- Review and analyze field data to determine root causes of events and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with product development, quality assurance, and customer support to efficiently prioritize and resolve issues.
- Contribute actively to the compilation and application of lessons learned in new projects.
- Provide timely updates on progress, risks, and proposed solutions to stakeholders and management.
QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS
- Bachelor’s in electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
- Preferably has over three years of experience in datacenter operations, UPS systems, or power conversion.
- Background in sustaining engineering, technical support, or product maintenance.
- Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrates expertise in root cause analysis and ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with engineering design tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
- Strong in planning, analysis, and communication.
- Collaborative team player.
- Maintains a customer-focused approach and is willing to travel as needed.
- Has experience with both technical documentation and test procedures.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
- Participation in R&D and engineering lab test.
TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED
- Travel required on an occasional basis (20–30%) for field support, testing, and customer engagement, including international travel for NPDI product reviews.
