Job Description:
Perform Electrical design, technical analysis and/or resolution of engineering problems with consideration of manufacturing feasibility, cost, and operation
Essential Functions:
- Design/alteration of complex electrical equipment
- Test and debug complex equipment to isolate defects
- Prepare layouts using CAD tools
- Evaluation of complex designs; make engineering changes
- Evaluate new parts
- Prepares schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings and bills of material (BOM) for complex equipment
- Support manufacturing/assembly teams
- Manage and maintain project file
- May travel to customer site and support field teams with technical assistance as required
- May assist with leading, mentoring or coaching less experienced team members
- Other duties as assigned
Job Specifications:
- Must be able to perform all level 2 duties competently
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical assembly layouts
- Comprehensive knowledge of CAD and engineering systems
- Strong logical and reasoning abilities
- Problem-solving ability
- Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing methods; electrical design and project management
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in customer’s facility and manage that relationship
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Typically has 4 plus years of experience in electrical engineering
Compensation range:
The approximate pay range for this position is $88,000–$110,000 annually. Please note that the pay range is a good faith estimate at the time of posting and may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location.#LI-SG1
