Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical engineer who can develop forward model architectures for products within quality, time and cost restraints. Responsible for defining technical solutions for electronic modules. Also specialized in schematic capture, parts selections, circuit analysis, product validation and production transition. Development or review of hardware/software interface specifications. Lead design reviews with peers and Technical Specialists. Demonstrated skills in digital and analog circuit design. Knowledge of FPGA's, DSP's, EMC, FMEA, RF and video signal processing a plus.
Position Summary
Develop forward model architectures for products within quality, time and cost restraints.
Specific Duties
Responsible for defining technical solutions for electronic modules. Schematic capture, parts selections, circuit analysis, product validation and production transition. Investigate failures and propose improvements. Interface with ECAD for circuit board layout, compliance with Manufacturing Design Rules.
  • Control and release Electrical BOM.
  • Work with manufacturing engineer to develop test specifications on required test equipment.
  • Interface with EMC activities to ensure compliance and final approvals from customer.
  • Participate in design reviews.
  • Documentation of all aspects in the product development process.
  • Development or review of hardware/software interface specifications.
  • Lead design reviews with peers and Technical Specialists.
  • Design change tracking.
  • Execute development in accordance with GEP.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering / software engineering / Electronic Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent (Master's preferred)

Experience and Skills Requirements
  • Minimum of 4-8 years experience in automotive and/or electronics industry.
  • Demonstrated skills in digital and analog circuit design, effective communication with experts in these fields.
  • Knowledge of FPGA's, DSP's, EMC, FMEA and video signal processing a plus.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills required and ability to work in a team environment
