About the RoleThe Electrical Engineer I role involves designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating components and processes used in complex electrical components. In this role, you will assist in the design and development of electrical components and systems, as well as modify and evaluate existing electrical systems to improve performance and efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical designs meet project requirements and standards. Conducting tests and simulations to validate the performance of electrical systems and components will be a key aspect of your work. Additionally, you will document design processes, test results, and modifications for future reference, and provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for electrical systems and components. Staying updated with the latest advancements in electrical engineering, you will apply new knowledge to ongoing projects to enhance innovation and effectiveness. You will also participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and progress discussions to ensure successful project execution.About You

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
  • Typically entry-level 0 - 2+ years of experience.
  • Basic understanding of electrical circuits and components.
  • Basic understanding of electrical design tools and equipment.
  • Basic understanding of electrical design tasks.
  • Ability to learn, receive instruction and mentorship from more experienced engineers.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Internship or co-op experience in electrical engineering.
  • Exposure to electrical design software such as Capital, AutoCAD Electrical, Altium Designer, or similar tools.
  • Exposure to simulation software like SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar.
  • Understanding of PCB design and layout.
  • Understanding of command and data handling methods
  • Understanding of power electronics and/or control systems.
  • Exposure to microcontrollers, embedded systems, or FPGAs.
  • Ability to perform circuit analysis and troubleshooting using tools like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
  • Exposure to programming languages such as C/C++ or Python for embedded systems development.


Compensation:

Pay Range:

$77,403.00 - $106,450.50

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
