Job Opportunity:

In this role, you will lead a team of electrical designers responsible for delivering high-quality automation solutions. You’ll play a key part in shaping design standards, supporting project execution, and developing talent within the team—all while working closely with Engineering and Operations leadership.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and support the Electrical Design team through daily prioritization, resource planning, and technical guidance 
  • Drive design execution from concept through validation, ensuring safety, quality, and performance standards are met 
  • Mentor and develop team members, building both technical capability and leadership bench strength 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Controls, and Operations to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Ensure designs meet customer requirements and project commitments on scope, schedule, and quality

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong background in industrial automation and electrical design with Proficiency in EPLAN, AutoCAD, Edrawings
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop technical teams
  • Comfortable balancing hands-on problem solving with leadership responsibilities
  • Passion for building robust, practical, buildable designs
  • Minimum Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Specialized Experience
  • Minimum 5+ Years’ Experience within the Automation or Automotive Manufacturing Field
  • Preference given to candidate holding PEO (Professional Engineers of Ontario) Designation
