About the Role
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems that meet project specifications, local authority regulations, and international standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, earthing, and lightning protection.
- Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Conduct electrical calculations: load analysis, short-circuit analysis, voltage drop, and cable sizing.
- Ensure compliance with DEWA, ADDC, UAE Fire Code, and other authority requirements.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (MEP, architectural, infrastructure) during design phases.
- Support tender documentation and technical specifications.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors to ensure design integrity and execution.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the UAE.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.
- Familiarity with DEWA, ADDC, and UAE regulatory standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar.
- Knowledge of embedded systems, control systems, and power distribution.

Skills Required
