We are hiring immediately for a Sr. Elasticsearch Engineer to join us in our Westminster, CO office. The position has the flexibility to work in the office, work from home, or a combination.
What you will do day-to-day:

• Designing / architecting elasticsearch ecosystems - cluster sizing, etc
• Managing data - working with indices, templates, data streams, data lifecycle/backup policies
• Cluster management - shard issues, snapshotting/restoring data, cross-cluster replication, scaling clusters
• Data processing - field mapping, document indexing, ingest pipelines
• Troubleshoot cluster issues

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Bachelor's degree in a computer-related major, such as computer science, electronic engineering, or computer engineering.
• Must possess current U.S. Security Clearance or have the ability to obtain secret clearance
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining ElasticSearch systems - see "what you will do day-to-day above"

Preferred Qualifications:

• US Secret or TS/SCI clearance
• Familiarity with Agile development process from build through deployment
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
• Scripting experience using Bash and/or Python

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.
• The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $119,000.00 - $199,000.00 annually.
• The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $131,000.00 - $219,000.00 annually.
• The base pay for this position within California is: $137,000.00 - $229,000.00 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.

Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
