BGSV - Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam Company Limited is 100% owned subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH. BGSV has started its operations from 19th October, 2010 at e-Town2 in HCMC. This engineering development center will be engaged in developing embedded systems and software, mechanical design and simulation, and will provide IT (SAP Consulting, JAVA Development….) and Business Services (Finance and accounting, Economics, Purchasing, Logistics, Translations Japanese-English-Japanese, Information Security ) solutions to the Bosch group of companies globally.

As a part Bosch group, our responsibility is to develop the Software for Engine Control Unit which is supplying for the world-wide OEM (Europe, Japan, Korea, ...). You will contribute to projects with latest Technologies as below:
- New European vehicle emissions standards – EU7 (new across the world)
- Fuel cell for Electric Vehicles (EV)
- Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engine (H2 ICE)
We are looking for a skilled Embedded Software Specialist to design and implement new systems and features, as well as modify and maintain existing systems (Engine Management System Software) for adaptation to business and/or technology changes. The Senior Software Engineer engages directly with Customer, development teams, technical delivery teams and HW system teams to ensure the successful design, development, and delivery of technology-based solutions.
To be successful as a Embedded Software Specialist, you should be able to drive the software change and release management processes, assisting with the overall maturity of the software development lifecycle. Ultimately, a top-notch Senior Software Engineer will ensure that software deliverables comply with quality standards and are completed on time.

- Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
- Handle requirements engineering: registration, scheduling, ordering and tracking of requirements and their implementation
- Review code, design and Test results
- Follow the SW development process (V-Model, ASPICE, SDLC…)
- Software architectural decisions for the specific package
- Component design that is aligned to overall software architectural decisions
- Problem Resolution Management (identification, recording, analysis, implementation, track to closure, monitoring)
- Responsible for Change Request Management in the customer project
- Responsible for System and SW requirements analysis, internal request of System and SW components, putting into operation and requirements-based test of new systems
Qualifications
Mandatory:
- At least 5 Years experience in Embedded Software development
- Strong in C/C++ language Programming
- Experience in Automotive Industry with understanding of Network topology (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet; or Diagnostic protocols like UDS, OBD)
- Experience in AUTOSAR (Layer Architecture, Communication Stack)
- Automotive product development process and quality experience (A-SPICE, CMMI, FMEA, ...)
- Experience in Real Time Operating System (RTOS)
- Excellent English language skills (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening)
- Excellent debugging & Problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
- Experience in debugging tools such as debuggers, oscilloscopes; CAN bus debugging tool like CANoe, CANalyer
- Scripting languages (python, Perl, VB …)
- Experience in multi core micro controllers and other hardware components
- Experience in Emulators, Simulators, debugging and Test Equipment
- Ability to work independently while leading multiple projects in a dynamic environment
- Japanese proficiency is an advantage with N4, N3 level.
