Hadrian - Manufacturing the Future
Hadrian is building autonomous factories that help aerospace and defense companies manufacture rockets, satellites, jets, and ships up to 10x faster and up to 2x cheaper. By combining advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we are reinventing how America produces its most critical parts.
We’re accelerating our mission with the launch of Factory 3 in Mesa, Arizona, a 290,000-square-foot facility creating 350 new jobs. We are expanding rapidly to support thousands of future hires, launching Hadrian Maritime to expand into naval production, and introducing a Factory-as-a-Service model that delivers complete systems instead of individual parts.
Hadrian is backed by leading investors including T. Rowe Price, Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, our fast-growing team is united around reindustrializing American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond.
The Role
We are seeking an EHS Specialist to support safety operations at our Mesa, AZ facility, known as Factory 3, while helping build and scale EHS systems across the company. At Hadrian, we are building a culture where zero incidents is the standard, and every team member plays a role in preventing harm through ownership, participation, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will partner with site leadership and employees to identify risks, strengthen safe work practices, and implement simple, effective safety systems that support the work and improve how we operate. You will foster an environment of open communication, where hazards are addressed quickly, questions are encouraged, and EHS operates as a trusted partner to the business, driving practical, solution-focused improvements that enhance safety, operations, and long-term sustainability.
As the EHS Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for EHS at the Mesa facility and work closely with site leadership and EHS leadership to establish foundational safety processes, ensure compliance, and build a strong, sustainable safety culture. You will develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and policies that align with regulatory requirements and support Hadrian’s approach to safety by design.
This role is best suited for someone who is hands-on, adaptable, and motivated to build—not just maintain—EHS systems. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, spending time on the floor, solving problems in real time, and helping shape how safety is implemented across a growing company.
