About this opportunity
We are looking for an EHS Manager to adapt, maintain, and continually improve Ericsson's Environment, Health, Safety, and Well-Being (EHS) policies, programs, and requirements.
In this role, you will help drive a sustainable safety culture and promote employee well-being, enabling consistent EHS governance, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement so that employees can thrive, perform at their best, and return home safe and well every day.
What you will do
  • Contribute to internal and external EHS reports, audits, assessments, and well-being programs and campaigns.
  • Support EHS leadership by helping solve complex issues and providing input and analysis for informed decision-making.
  • Support EHS strategy execution, governance, processes, and drive continuous improvements.
  • Follow up on target performance, identify deviations, and propose corrective actions.
  • Contribute to competence and development within EHS.
  • Support monitoring of EHS legislation and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate and participate in EHS governance forums and safety committees, ensuring effective communication, training, engagement, and documentation.
  • Drive the effectiveness and maturity of the EHS Management System, ensuring alignment with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and Ericsson's global governance.
  • Proactively identify EHS risks and opportunities.
  • Lead and support incident investigations, including serious incidents, ensuring high-quality root cause analysis, learning, and sustainable corrective actions.
  • Support digitalization, automation, and AI-enabled initiatives to improve the efficiency, consistency, and execution of EHS programs.
  • Coordinate emergency procedures and ensure compliance with applicable NR regulations and State Fire Department requirements.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required to support EHS business operations.

The skills you bring
  • University degree in Engineering (any discipline officially recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education - MEC).
  • Postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety Engineering (minimum 600 hours, in accordance with Brazilian legislation - Law No. 7.410, dated November 27, 1985).
  • Active registration with CREA (Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy) in Brazil.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs), including but not limited to NR-01, NR-06, NR-10, NR-12, NR-18, NR-33, and NR-35.
  • Solid experience applying theoretical concepts and principles in EHS and Well-Being in practice.
