As an EHS Specialist II, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless implementation and strict adherence to environmental health and safety regulations. You will determine and implement effective strategies to successfully mitigate risks and maintain a safe work environment. Your proven expertise in EHS will be instrumental in driving our ambitious goals and supporting our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain world-class environmental health and safety programs
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver training programs
• Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Develop and update safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related scientific subject area such as Biology, Chemistry, or Engineering. Equivalent experience will also be considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in EHS roles
• Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to effectively collaborate and lead initiatives

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $60,000.00–$90,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
