Location: Faribault, MN – In office
Your Responsibilities:
Conduct regular safety and environmental inspections and audits of facilities and equipment to identify and address hazards and risks
Assist in the development and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and training programs
Support and maintain chemical management documentation, new equipment, and approval process
Monitor and analyze EHS data, trends, and metrics to identify areas of improvement and support implementation of corrective actions
Assist the EHS leader in the preparation of EHS reports and presentations
Assist EHS leader in leading EHS committees and teams to drive continuous improvement
Support and maintain the improvements of EMS (ISO 14001) and SMS (ISO 45001) document control and systems.
Conducts or coordinates training to educate employees about safety policies, laws, and best practices.
Assists site supervisors in investigations of incidents and severe incidents to prevent recurrence.
Assist in the collection of samples for different testing analysis (i.e., storm water, chemicals, etc.).
Assisting in the conducting of risk assessments and recommend risk mitigation strategies
Provide EHS technical support for site specific initiative and projects.
Promote Daikin’s goal of zero (accidents, emissions, etc...)
Stay current with federal, state, and local regulations and industry best practices
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related fields
2-4+ year of related experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (preferred)

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $28.61 to $47.04 in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
