We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead environmental, health & safety (EHS) and facility management programs at our Tianjin site. This role is responsible for ensuring full regulatory compliance, driving a proactive safety culture, and continuously improving EHS and facility performance to support business operations.
What we’ll get you doing:
- Lead and implement EHS programs in compliance with local regulations and corporate standards
- Manage environmental permits, regulatory reporting, and maintain strong relationships with government authorities
- Drive risk identification, hazard analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives using ISO standards and DBS tools
- Oversee chemical management, hazardous waste control, and workplace safety programs
- Manage incident investigations, corrective actions, and emergency preparedness programs
- Ensure effective facility operations, including maintenance, vendor management, and site services
- Support cross-functional projects, change management, and business continuity planning
The essential requirements of the role include:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in EHS, engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of EHS management experience in a manufacturing environment (chemical industry preferred)
- Solid knowledge of China EHS regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiar with ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 and risk management practices
- Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English
