Position Summary: EHS EngineerIn this role, you will help create and maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace. You’ll collaborate across the organization to strengthen our safety culture, drive engagement, and ensure every team member returns home safely each day.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Elevate safety awareness through training, education, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Administer and oversee EHS programs, policies, and procedures
- Lead emergency response efforts, including first responders and emergency equipment readiness
- Manage regulated waste streams and assist with reporting requirements
- Support additional initiatives and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a safety-related field (A.B.E.T. accreditation preferred), or an associate’s degree with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a safety-related role
- Relevant professional certifications or completed training in disciplines related to environmental, health, and safety
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and assignments, ensuring completion with minimal oversight
- Ability to effectively access all areas within the assigned work environment
- Sufficient agility and mobility to observe processes and inspect product features, including navigating confined spaces and areas with limited or unusual access
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field (ABET preferred) or an associate's degree with a minimum of five years of experience in a safety-related role
- Relevant professional certifications or completed training in environmental, health, and safety disciplines (e.g., OSHA, HAZWOPER, or similar)
- Strong working knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulatory requirements within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and assignments and complete them with minimal oversight
- Ability to access all areas of the facility, including confined or limited-access spaces; sufficient agility and mobility for inspections
