JOB SUMMARY

The Manager EH&S at Elevate Aircraft Seating oversees the implementation and maintenance of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs. They ensure compliance with regulations, develop safety protocols, and foster a culture of workplace safety. Responsible for leading EHS initiatives, they play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all employees.

• Ensure site compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (including, but not limited to OSHA/CAL OSHA, EPA, DTSC, AQMD, SWRCB).
• Ensure site compliance with Boeing's Safety and Environmental standards.
• Maintain site security protocols, promptly addressing any breaches related to IT cybersecurity, infrastructure, or building security.
• Manage and maintain badge access systems, ensuring access is appropriate and up-to-date.
• Conduct regular reviews of access logs to identify and address security concerns.
• Maintain emergency preparedness plans and coordinate emergency drills and exercises.
• Act as the primary site interface with regulatory agencies.
• Lead the injury response process.
• Lead the incident investigation process, including root cause analysis and identification of corrective action plans.
• Manage OSHA reporting and recordkeeping.
• Manage hazardous waste management program.
• Implement and maintain the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan.
• Evaluate work processes for hazards and risk factors, proposing mitigation strategies.
• Develop and conduct EHS trainings.
• Facilitate site Safety Programs.
• Perform periodic, site-wide and area-specific safety compliance evaluations and audits.
• Track and assist with safety-related preventative maintenance, such as signage, fire extinguishers, AEDs, and emergency eye wash stations.
• Establish PPE requirements.
• Generate and publish EH&S KPIs.
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain building security measures.
• Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
• Protect the confidentiality of the Company’s information and products.
• Contribute to team efforts by performing other job-related duties and projects as assigned or requested.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned or requested.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (5+ years) in Environmental Health and Safety or closely related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of related EH&S experience in manufacturing environment.

Skills:

• In-Depth knowledge of OSHA standards and reporting requirements.
• In-Depth knowledge of environmental regulations (EPA, SWRCB, SCAQMD) as well as permitting/reporting requirements.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort collaborating with Management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power-Point.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Elevate Aircraft Seating offers competitive wages and benefits to recognize employees for their work. The base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.

Salary Rate Transparency: $100,000- $135,000 annually, depending on candidate qualifications
