Designs and improves aerospace manufacturing production lines using lean manufacturing, takt-time analysis, time studies, line balancing, facility layouts, and continuous improvement. Leads quality assurance and quality control across two aerospace manufacturing facilities. Oversees quality systems, AS9100 and FAA/EASA compliance, audits, inspections, supplier quality, nonconformance and corrective actions, customer requirements, quality metrics, and continuous improvement. Manages quality personnel, supports product introductions and manufacturing transfers, maintains customer certifications, and advises executive leadership on quality, compliance, operational risk, and customer satisfaction.

Develops and maintains manufacturing bills of materials, digital work instructions, process plans, and configuration-controlled documentation. Translates engineering data into manufacturing-ready information, processes engineering changes, supports build sequencing, and ensures quality and traceability compliance. Collaborates with Engineering, Planning, Production, and Quality teams to improve manufacturing processes, data integrity, standardization, and operational efficiency. Serves as a subject matter resource for manufacturing documentation and provides internal guidance and training.

Administer, govern, optimize, and support CATIA and related engineering systems. Establish CAD standards, configuration practices, workflows, automation tools, and data-quality processes. Provide advanced user support, training, troubleshooting, and cross-functional coordination with engineering, IT, PLM, manufacturing, and certification teams. Lead continuous-improvement initiatives that enhance system performance, engineering productivity, standardization, and adoption across global product-development programs.

The Cost Accountant analyzes manufacturing and production costs, maintains standard costs, posts inventory and work-in-progress journal entries, reconciles accounts, and prepares monthly reporting. The role explains margin variances, supports forecasting and annual planning, maintains cost and inventory KPI data, recommends cost-effective solutions, and assists with audits. It requires collaboration with management and cross-functional teams while ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.

Plans materials and production activities to maintain continuous flow of job orders and materials to manufacturing cells. Uses Syspro MRP to plan requirements, generate purchase requisitions, monitor action messages, create and release job orders and kit lists, and resolve material availability issues involving lost parts, rework, scrap, and engineering changes. Produces reports, identifies process issues, supports special projects, and communicates effectively with planning and production teams.

Serve as senior HR leader for Huntington Beach operations, partnering with business leaders to drive employee relations, workforce planning, engagement, compliance, talent management, leadership coaching, HR operations, and team development to support organizational growth and operational success.

Provide on-site manufacturing engineering support for serial production: troubleshoot and resolve line issues, develop tooling and fixtures, apply Lean methods, optimize layouts with AutoCAD, support NPI transitions, perform time studies, train operators, and drive continuous improvement to meet aerospace quality and production requirements.

Develop and execute certification programs to demonstrate compliance with regulatory and OEM requirements. Create test plans/reports, review prototypes, oversee test article builds, track deliverables, interface with airlines/OEMs/FAA/suppliers, and serve as subject matter expert on flammability, dynamic/static testing, design compliance, and aircraft installation.

Drive supplier quality improvement through audits, APQP, root cause analysis and corrective actions. Perform on-site supplier visits, support new product launches, define process capability with engineering, report KPIs, lead audits, and ensure supplier conformance to specifications and safety standards.

Develop and execute certification test plans and reports to demonstrate compliance with regulatory and OEM requirements. Coordinate with teams, oversee test article builds, review designs, identify certification issues, maintain records, interface with customers/OEMs/FAA, and support testing, flammability, dynamic/static testing and aircraft installation integration activities.

Lead structural certification and stress analysis for aircraft interior structures using FEA and hand calculations; prepare interface loads and stress reports, static test plans, support testing, lead other stress engineers, interface with customers, review drawings, and ensure regulatory compliance (FAA/TSO).
