Attribute Performance Review: Evaluate vehicle-level attribute performance (ride, handling, NVH, thermal, accommodation, etc.) for India-built vehicles.
Gap Reporting: Identify and report deviations from defined attribute targets or acceptable performance levels; escalate issues to attribute leads.
Measurement Tools Management: Oversee calibration, maintenance, and operational readiness of tools, equipment, and rigs used for attribute measurements.
Bench-marking & Market Research: Lead in-country bench-marking of competitor vehicles and capture customer preferences and usage trends in the India market.
Media Review Analysis: Track and analyze media reviews comparing VinFast products with competitors; synthesize insights for attribute and product improvements.
Audit Reporting: Release regular vehicle audit reports summarizing attribute performance against benchmarks and internal targets.
Test & Validation Support: Plan and conduct in-country tests (road, climatic, endurance) aligned with VinFast’s global validation protocols.
Homologation Witnessing: Support and witness local homologation and regulatory tests, ensuring attribute performance under Indian homologation conditions.
Customer Issue Handling: Address critical customer issues, assess reported attribute concerns, and provide technical feedback for corrective action.
Brand Positioning Integration: Collaborate with the Marketing team to integrate brand positioning into complete vehicle specifications.
Competitor Intelligence: Provide regular updates on competitor information in the Indian market, detailing all relevant vehicle attributes.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related majors.
- Vehicle Network Experience: Experience with CAN, LIN, INCA, Ethernet, DoIP.
- Vehicle Network Testing: Hands-on experience in vehicle network testing and mock simulation on CAN, LIN, INCA, etc.
- Automotive Testing: Practical experience with automotive testing, ECU bench setup, hardware connections, and troubleshooting test benches.
- Network Architecture: Good understanding of vehicle network architecture; hands-on experience in ECU flashing and variant coding.
- ECU Flashing: Proven experience in ECU flash and coding activities.
- Industry Experience: Minimum 3 years of working experience in the automotive field.
- Charging Standards: Knowledge and experience with charging standards such as IEC 61851, ISO 15118, BMS systems, and charging systems.
- Plug & Charge: Understanding of Plug & Charge systems is an advantage.
- Test Partner Management: Experience in managing test partners.
- Interoperability Testing: Deep knowledge of charging tests in the field (Interoperability).
- Standards Compliance: Ability to identify non-compliance with standards and resolve related issues.
- Process Improvement: Ability to proactively suggest improvements in work methodologies.
