Leidos is seeking an eDiscovery Systems Analyst to work on-site in support of the Department of Justice in Washington, DC. Be one of the first to dedicate your skills and talent to a newly formed division of the Department of Justice, National Fraud Enforcement Division.
Primary Responsibilities:
Defines system and project requirements based on information gathered from the COR, Government Case Managers, and trial staff and designs entire system(s) to meet defined requirements.
Works out the details of functional and design requirements, systems design, programming specifications, data elements, data validation specifications, data capture mechanisms, and data conversion procedures through discussions with Government staff and management staff.
Process both standard data types and special data formats that may be proprietary, mobile device, social media, forensic images, audio/video, etc.
On a weekly basis, perform web and/or video captures and process mobile devices, creating RSMF files for loading text messages to Relativity.
Assist with handling proprietary databases, reports and other non-standard file types.
Assist in the migration of 1 PB of data from Relativity Server to RelOne
Translates the functional requirements into systems designs suitable for development of appropriate computer programs.
Tests software, including preparation and use of sample data for testing purposes.
Makes presentations of findings, recommendations, and specifications in formal reports and in oral presentations.
Develops systems documentation; provides user and technical documentation and training for systems developed.
Consults with Government staff and with other Contractor staff to assure understanding of task objectives, identifies problems and suggests improvements.
Provides technical expertise, direction and supervision to lower level personnel.
May sometimes function as a technical supervisor or team leader for a project.
Reports on progress to Government staff and to superiors.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 4+ years of specific, hands-on experience supporting a federal government’s eDiscovery IT infrastructure and applications environment.
Demonstrate ability to analyze system requirements and translate those requirements into a coherent system design.
Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting applications, and making use of the software or technology for which services are required including ESI processing applications
Demonstrate the professionalism and capability to support the successful installation, operation, maintenance, security and upgrade of litigation support software in use at a federal agency
Understand Oracle and SQL systems, and be able to create python scripts, etc.
Experience with field capture, transcription, language processing and modern ETL techniques and solutions engineering, recommending and leveraging new technology to process vast quantities for structured and unstructured data.
Experience in supporting a large eDiscovery data migration of litigation data from a server-based application to the cloud
Experience within both Relativity Server and RelativityOne environments
Experience supporting implementations within complex, multi-org government cloud ecosystems
Systems analysis skills
Requires broad knowledge of the Government's IT environments, including office automation networks, and PC and server based databases and applications.
Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in supporting user support help desks
Experience developing and deploying new applications to an established user group
Experience in automated litigation support very helpful.
Hands-on experience in a Windows office automation environment such as JCON
Trial support experience a plus
Undergraduate degree strongly preferred; preferably in the computer science or information management/technology disciplines.
Supervisory or team leader experience very useful.
Please note: while the salary range is wide, the specific salary range for this position is going to be around $125,000.
