EDI Support & Monitoring Analyst

Role Summary We are seeking a dedicated EDI Support & Monitoring Analyst responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, validation, and resolution of EDI transaction issues across the SAP integration landscape. The role will ensure uninterrupted processing of customer orders and outbound EDI documents by proactively monitoring integration queues, identifying failures, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring timely issue resolution. Key Responsibilities Daily Operations Monitor the SPS Commerce portal to identify and investigate inbound and outbound EDI transaction errors. Monitor SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) error notifications and coordinate with the CPI support team for timely resolution. Validate that inbound customer orders have been successfully processed and created in SAP S/4HANA. Verify successful transmission of outbound EDI documents, including: EDI 855 – Purchase Order Acknowledgment EDI 856 – Advance Ship Notice (ASN) EDI 810 – Invoice Track, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI processing issues or escalate them to the appropriate support teams. Perform end-to-end validation of EDI transactions from receipt through successful completion. Maintain daily operational logs, incident records, and issue resolution status. Coordinate with business users, SAP functional teams, CPI integration teams, and SPS Commerce support to resolve transaction failures. Ensure adherence to agreed service levels (SLAs) for monitoring, response, and resolution. Required Skills Working knowledge of EDI transaction processing and common EDI standards (X12/ANSI). Experience with SPS Commerce portal monitoring. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA order processing and sales order validation. Understanding of SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) monitoring and error handling. Ability to analyze integration failures and coordinate with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Experience with incident management and ticketing tools is preferred. Deliverables Daily monitoring of all inbound and outbound EDI transactions. Timely identification, tracking, and resolution of EDI processing issues. Daily status updates and incident reporting. Escalation of unresolved issues within defined SLAs. Improved EDI transaction success rate and minimized business disruption through proactive monitoring.
