Job Summary
As an Application Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and deployment of software applications.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Experience of using API client tools like PostMan, SOAP UI, etc to create API mock ups and test plans.
• Ability to write EDI Specifications
• Good understanding of RDBMS including logical and physical data modelling
• Ability to model API using open API specification is a must have.
• Strong knowledge of Integration communications protocols, technologies and security
• Good understanding of IT Service Management (ISO 20000, LEAN, 6σ)
• Keep an eye on upgrades, patches - ensure systems are upto date
• Adherence of DPDHL security standards both for customers and internal applications
Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate of Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field
- 5+ Years experience in IT
- At least 3 years of relevant experience is required for this position
- 3+ Years experience in EDI using Application Integrator (AI)
- Javascript, JSONata, JTD
- Automation and Robotics
• WMS IT
• Experience of implementing Robotics Hub, SVT or other automation platforms
• Experience in using Automation tools (Azure DevOps) a plus
• Experience in using Application Monitoring tools a plus (e.g. – Dynatrace, Appdynamics, Zabbix, etc.)
• Experience in using NOSQL, in-memory databases and Big Data technologies a plus
