Job Description
EDGE programs are designed to help the next generation of makers, builders and innovators jump-start a successful career at Rockwell Automation. These programs will help new grads expand, discover, grow and excel – providing that critical EDGE needed as you grow into your career.
By participating in this rotational program, you will complete four six-month project assignments designed to build your knowledge of Rockwell Automation products, processes, and technical skills. Associates perform in a full-time professional capacity throughout the program. Associates can be placed within a technology development or analytics development program track based on their interests and skillsets.

The Essentials - You Will Have:
Graduating or graduated with a Bachelor's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university prior to the start date (~June/July 2027) .
Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or anytime in the future.
Graduating with a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Information Sciences, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or similar from an accredited college or university in December 2026 or Spring 2027.
Experience working in a business setting (e.g., internship, co-op or professional)
A passion for technology, process improvement and innovation
Proven teamwork collaboration
Ability to work with complex systems to analyze data input and process flows.
Foundational understanding of AI concepts (machine learning, natural language processing, generative & Agentic AI) and their practical applications in IT
Ability to use enterprise approved AI tools/platforms (i.e. Co-Pilot, Github, Claude, Windsurf) to improve productivity and automation
Awareness of responsible AI practices, including data privacy, security, and compliance.
Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams on AI-related initiatives or digital transformation efforts.
Adaptability and continuous learning: The AI landscape is rapidly evolving, requiring IT professionals to continuously learn new technologies and advancements.
