Oneida Health is currently looking for a full-time ED Tech to work a 12 Hour Night Shift (10 pm - 6 am) in its Hospital Emergency Department (ER). This is a nursing support position under the supervision and direction of the Nurse Manager, ED Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, or RN. You will provide direct care relevant to the age and developmental level of the patient in accordance with the presenting complaint and within the scope of the job description. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently as part of a team while providing the highest levels of safety and patient experience.

Qualifications

Your Essential Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Experience:
    • Healthcare: 1 year (Preferred)

Skills Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Healthcare experience (1 year)
  • Proficiency with electronic records management systems / EHRs
  • Ability to provide direct patient care under RN supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service attitude
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (10:00 pm - 6:00 am)
