Oneida Health is currently looking for a full-time ED Tech to work a 12 Hour Day Shift in its Hospital Emergency Department (ER). This is a nursing support position under the supervision and direction of the Nurse Manager, ED Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, or RN. You will provide direct care relevant to the age and developmental level of the patient in accordance with the presenting complaint and within the scope of the job description. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently as part of a team while providing the highest levels of safety and patient experience.

Qualifications

Your Essential Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Experience:
    • Healthcare: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Physical Requirements
    • Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
    • Manual dexterity for handling equipment and performing patient care tasks.
    • Visual and auditory acuity to assess patient conditions and communicate effectively.
    • Capacity to respond quickly to emergent situations and perform physical tasks as needed.

Skills Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of healthcare experience
