Within Online Customer Experience (OCE), the Experimentation & Personalization team helps Microsoft make customer experience improvements through experimentation, personalization, customer research, and insight generation.
As an eCommerce Experimentation Manager, you will help scale a data-driven culture by partnering across product, engineering, design, analytics, data science, and business teams to identify opportunities, generate insights, and drive measurable improvements to the customer experience. You'll contribute to the evolution of experimentation capabilities, AI-enabled workflows, and customer insight systems that help Microsoft deliver more relevant and adaptive customer experiences.

Responsibilities
- Partner across product, marketing, design, analytics, data science, and business teams to develop and execute experimentation and research plans that improve customer experiences and drive business outcomes.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative customer data to generate insights, communicate findings, and recommend opportunities for optimization, learning, and growth.
- Contribute to the adoption and optimization of experimentation, research, and analytics tooling and processes by leveraging AI and emerging technologies to increase capacity, accelerate insight generation, and improve program effectiveness.
- Develop and improve experimentation standards, best practices, training materials, and self-service capabilities that enable teams to scale customer-centric decision-making.
- Coordinate experimentation programs and optimization efforts across stakeholders, managing deliverables, communications, reporting, and rhythm of business activities.
- Contribute to the Experimentation & Personalization community through cross-team collaboration, reusable learnings, and continuous improvement of experimentation practices across Microsoft.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in retail, customer service, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 2+ years experience in retail, customer service, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles
- OR equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 5+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development or equalivent experience
- 4+ years’ experience supporting digital user experience development as a product manager, data analyst, UX designer, engineer, or merchandiser OR 4+ years experience working with A/B testing or Feature Flagging tools, such as Adobe Target, Optimizely, Launch Darkly, etc
- Proven track-record designing rigorous, online experiments (A/Bn tests)that deliver customer insights and actionable results Demonstrated project management skills coordinating deliverables across several stakeholders with track record of prioritizing and delivering projects in an ambiguous and changing environment.
- 2+ years of eCommerce / behavioral data analysis experience or equivalent functional work; extracting insights from large structured & unstructured datasets
- Proactive communicator who thrives delivering results through inclusive, cross-group partnerships, with experience simplifying complex technical concepts for non-technical roles.
- Proven sense of high accountability and self-drive to take on and see-through big opportunities. Must be self-started, organized and detail oriented.
eCommerce IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $86,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $113,300 - $187,400 per year.
