About the Role
The Head of Analytics & Reporting will lead the analytics and reporting function of the NBFC, enabling
data-driven decisions across credit, sourcing, risk, operations, collections, and compliance. The role will
own the organization's analytics roadmap while ensuring robust, timely, and accurate reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
• 8–15 years of experience in analytics & reporting in NBFC/Bank/Fintech
• At least 3–5 years in a leadership role handling analytics + MIS
• Degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or related field; MBA/PG in Finance/Analytics preferred
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain scorecards, bureau rules, and underwriting models
• Create monitoring frameworks for early warning signals and SMA movement
• Track portfolio quality and recommend credit policy refinements
• Provide data-driven inputs for strategic business expansion across products, geographies, and
customer segments
• Drive capability building in the analytics function, including advanced modeling, automation, and
self-service BI adoption
• Conduct sourcing funnel analysis and branch/channel productivity assessment
• Build bounce prediction models
• Ensure accurate, timely, and automated MIS reporting for management
• Design and manage dashboards
• Standardize definitions and data governance across functions
• Partner with technology teams to automate data pipelines and dashboards
• Lead and mentor a team of analysts, MIS/reporting specialists, and BI developers
• Partner with credit, business, operations, finance, and risk teams to embed analytics into daily
decision-making
• Execute and periodically update the ECL (Expected Credit Loss) model for provisioning and
regulatory compliance
Skills & Competencies
• Deep understanding of retail/MSME lending and NBFC business models
• Strong expertise in analytics (SQL, Python/R), BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) and Excel
• Strong business acumen with ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder communication skills
Note: LAP (Loan Against Property) experience is mandatory
Skills Required

- Experience executing and updating ECL (Expected Credit Loss) models for provisioning and compliance
- Leadership, stakeholder communication, and team mentoring skills
