SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (m/w/f)

YOUR TASKS

as Regional Supplier Development Manager

  • EBV Supplier Development Manager for a big core franchise line

  • Build up supplier relationship on regional level and establish contacts to all
    relevant levels up to corporate management of supplier

  • Develop supplier strategy together with internal stakeholders

  • Align the EBV and supplier processes

  • EBV Corporate business review preparation and coordination

  • KPI tracking and Supplier margin enhancement on EMEA level

  • Manage EBV Supplier Incentive Bonus Plans

  • Coordination of supplier specific demand creation marketing programs –adapt to EBV needs

  • Give guidance on product marketing activities, technical seminars and trainings – provide supplier intelligence to field and communications department

  • Supplier specific support to marketing projects, vertical segments, Newsletter, NPI, Technical Marketing etc.

  • Monitoring demand creation activities and performance

  • Branch offices updates on: focus products, business tools and procedures, supplier organization, etc.

  • Support the FAE/AM trainings

The tasks include Global Supplier management for a core franchise line

  • Build up supplier corporate relationship and establish contacts to top management across the globe

  • Understand Supplier strategy, product focus and the resulting Avnet growth opportunities

  • Global business plan development and implementation

  • Global contract negotiations

  • Define Avnet targets and track via Scorecard methodology with the goal of improving the Avnet results over time

  • Executive summary and overview provision for Avnet global

  • Regular Supplier meeting cadence

  • Internal meeting(s) cadence e.g. with regional SDMs, Avnet management, Speedboat management

  • Keep regions informed and include regional inputs in global supplier meetings and actions

  • Coordinate global Marcom strategy

  • Coordinate Ecosystem leverage (e.g. Farnell, Hackster.io and Element 14 etc.)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • MSEE or equivalent (MBA or Marketing degree valued but not mandatory)

  • Min. 10 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry

  • Strong personality who is able to develop close ties up to top management
    level of suppliers

  • Independent, self-responsible work and initiative

  • An aptitude to improve the business processes and efficiencies for optimizing team and program performance

  • Excellent facilitation abilities and communication skills

  • Excellent negotiation skills, excellent presenting skills

  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)

  • Willingness to travel (40% of working time out of office)

  • Skilled in using MS Office, Project Management tools, Salesforce and SAP
