As part of our teaching team, you will:
- Implement our fully accredited weekly curriculum.
- Help create a fun, engaging, and nurturing classroom.
- Work alongside your team to maintain a clean, safe learning environment.
- Build strong relationships with children and their families.
- Communicate daily with parents about their child's progress and classroom activities.
- Complete child assessments and hold parent conferences twice each year.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
We are looking for individuals who are caring, dependable, and passionate about working with young children.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous childcare experience, preferably in a licensed childcare center.

For Teacher and Assistant Teacher positions, candidates must meet the education and experience requirements established by the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF).

Demonstrates the qualities we value at New Creations, including reliability, flexibility, professionalism, responsibility, and serving as a positive role model for children.

Must successfully pass all required Minnesota DHS background studies, including fingerprinting, and meet all eligibility requirements for employment in a licensed child care center.

Obtain Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Complete SUIDS (Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Syndrome) and AHT (Abusive Head Trauma) training on the first day of employment.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
With or without reasonable accommodation, this position requires the ability to:

Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and sit on the floor or low children's furniture for extended periods.

Lift, carry, and assist children throughout the day, particularly in infant and toddler classrooms.

Move classroom equipment such as tables, chairs, cots, and learning materials.

Push strollers or multi-child buggies during outdoor walks and activities.

Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions year-round.

What We Do
New Creations Child Care & Learning Center provides fun, faith-based, educational, high-quality, and affordable childcare for infants through school-age children across Minnesota and central Iowa. Its developmentally appropriate programs support children’s social/emotional, physical, and cognitive growth through an in-house accredited curriculum featuring music, art, reading, sensory activities, and science, with the goal of preparing every child for kindergarten and future success.
