Job Opportunity: E-Support Specialist I at Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance 

Location: Jackson, MS

Role and Responsibilities: The E-Support Specialist provides technical support to our field force by assisting them with all Marketing customer-facing technologies, such as E-Applications, E-Delivery, Illustrations, Leads, and others. This position will be required to gain or grow their knowledge in SFBLI workflows, procedures, processes, and how they interact with our E-Systems. After gaining experience and knowledge of the Marketing E-Services systems, this position will assist in implementing new or improved solutions, including testing of these systems, as well as working closely with other internal departments as needed.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide answers to questions and concerns from the Field Force and assist them with any issues associated with electronic systems and applications.
  • Maintain and monitor the performance and integrity of Marketing E-Systems.
  • Report any issues to the appropriate team (external or internal) in a timely manner and follow through until the issue is resolved.
  • Use knowledge of application systems and procedures to form appropriate communication and documentation for reporting issues or requests.
  • Research and identify potential enhancement opportunities for any Marketing E-System.
  • Efficiently and effectively research, develop, test, and coordinate application systems, procedures, and workflows.
  • Maintain awareness of any E-System project initiatives or development that impacts our agents and/or policyowners.
  • Participate in preparing and presenting lessons when new electronic systems and capabilities impact agents and internal departmental areas.
  • Contribute to departmental or company-wide project initiatives assigned by Management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Marketing, Public Relations, Business or related field; or a combination of education and experience
  • Insurance or industry related certification preferred
  • Preferred knowledge of the following; however, training will be provided to become proficient in the following: Business Analysis techniques, Policy Administration databases, Reporting services, and Query Management tools
  • Knowledge and/or interest in new and emerging technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with others in a team environment.
  • Prioritization skills and flexibility to reprioritize tasks when appropriate
  • Ability to function effectively in the workplace as exhibited through one's integrity, courage to act and communication skills
