Leidos is seeking an E-Discovery Senior Data Specialist to work in support of the Department of Justice in Washington, DC. The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced and diverse environment and will have a management team that encourages your career development and growth. Presently, the position is hybrid with the successful candidate working onsite at the DOJ location 1-2 days a week, and the other days working remote.
Primary Responsibilities:
This is a senior level position operating under the direction of an Automated Litigation Support (ALS) Lab Manager.
Provides oversight functions for Data Specialists and performs file manipulation, data loading, file conversions, document productions and exports.
Performs quality checks of data loads, exports, and document productions.
Develops, evaluates and modifies methodologies and procedures for manipulating files for use with COTS products and litigation support applications.
Performs quality assurance of all electronic files processing (EFP) services.
Responsible for ensuring that incoming productions are made pursuant to the applicable ESI specifications and when deficiencies are found, provides the ALS Lab Manager with detailed notice of deficiencies.
Recommends process improvement to ensure high quality, timely and cost-effective methods are utilized.
Basic Qualifications:
Undergraduate Degree (or equivalent) and 4+ years of related experience.
Requires knowledge of litigation discovery process, and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow.
Knowledge of Government’s IT environment, including office automation networks, PC and server based applications.
Working knowledge of personal computers, including Windows, document review software, and encryption methods.
Experience with LAW, IPRO, Relativity or other document processing platform. Familiarity with iCONECT, Relativity, MS Office Suite, and West LiveNote valued.
At least five years’ experience performing eDiscovery roles including but not limited to electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis.
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree preferred - preferably in computer science or related field
Experience developing workflows using Relativity Server, RelativityOne, Everlaw or other document review applications
Brainspace, NexLP, and Blackout experience valued
Technology Assisted Review and Continuous Active Learning experience is a plus
Please note that the salary for this position will be around $100,000.
