The E-commerce Specialist is detail-oriented, highly organized, and responsible for preparing website content, E-commerce promotions, and performance tracking. This role blends content preparation, E-commerce operations, analytics, and cross-functional coordination to support marketing initiatives and drive online growth. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in content management systems, E-commerce, email platforms, and marketing tools such as Google Analytics.

Responsibilities
- Promote the mission and standards of Answers in Genesis.
- Create a SERVE culture environment in all work done.

- Prioritize personal integrity in all interactions and assignments.
- Assist with preparing and publishing articles, blogs, landing pages, and technical content across all websites in a robust CMS, while ensuring technical accuracy and utilizing best practices for HTML, CSS, and SEO, in conformance with internal standards
- Prepare, schedule, and monitor discounts & deals and special offers, which involves creating, testing, maintaining, and ensuring accuracy of discounts, product pages, and landing pages, plus preparing/sending emails
- Coordinate inventory updates to ensure product pages are accurate, plus update product lists and process other store updates (intake tasks)
- Utilize tracking codes, and support A/B testing initiatives for email campaigns
- Collect and analyze campaign performance data in Google Analytics, generating performance reports and insights for marketing stakeholders
- Provide support for marketing ad campaigns
- Create and maintain clear documentation for E-commerce/website procedures and workflows, to improve efficiency and consistency
- And all other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
Requirements

- Strong functional understanding of current computer hardware and software systems, with the ability to learn new software programs and systems extremely quickly
- Proven, well-developed problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills, with a proven record of working well with others and accepting constructive criticism
- Attention to detail in coordinating tasks, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines
- Ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment with many competing demands, while remaining flexible to frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events
- Willing to occasionally work on weekends and evenings when necessary
Education & Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in a computer related field, or equivalent job experience
- Experience with project management software and web apps
- Experience in the use of content management systems (CMS), E-commerce, email platforms and related website software
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience with SEO (search engine optimization) is a plus
