Job Duties and Responsibilities:

E-commerce Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our online sales, ensuring the smooth execution of orders, inventory management, customer service, logistics, and process optimization. This role will require an individual with strong organizational and leadership skills, as well as the ability to identify and implement improvements to optimize operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Oversee and optimize day-to-day operations of the company’s e-commerce platform
  • Monitor product listings, ensure accurate product descriptions, images, and prices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to orders, returns, and customer service.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure stock availability
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Develop timely and accurate volume and financial forecasts to manage product availability with merchandising and buyers.
  • Collaborate with marketing, IT, and customer service teams to drive e-commerce growth.
  • Lead and manage a team of e-commerce associates.
  • Provide training and support to team members on new tools, technologies, and processes.
  • Ensure a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience across all devices (desktop, mobile).
  • Monitor customer feedback and reviews and take action to improve satisfaction levels.
  • Analyze e-commerce metrics, including sales data, traffic, conversion rates, and customer behavior.
  • Generate regular reports to assess business performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Continuously assess and improve e-commerce processes to drive efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Identify and implement new tools and systems to streamline operations.
  • Help manage the e-commerce operations budget, ensuring that costs are controlled, and financial targets are met.
  • Lead, develop, and ensure implementation of ecommerce strategies that are aligned with overall business strategies, and that support achievement of profitable ecommerce sales objectives
  • Maintain a well-organized and efficient workspace to support smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to e-commerce.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure department adherence to operational standards and compliance requirements.
  • Investigate internal and customer complaints to assess what occurred and determine whether the department followed all applicable federal, state, and internal company policies and procedures.


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in retail experience, management experience a plus
  • Strong competency in creating engaging training content and learning tools, including digital/e-learning content
  • Strong written and verbal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop and implement creative approaches to training programs that drive tangible results
  • Ability to implement strategies, measure impact, and make necessary adjustments to achieve objectives
  • Ability to analyze customer-related data and draw conclusions leading to improvement recommendations
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task projects in a dynamic, fast paced environment with shifting priorities
  • English proficiency is required; Russian language skills are preferred.
