Job Description:
We are looking for a DTS Financial Analyst to serve as a key financial partner for the Pet Nutrition business in Mexico. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions at the distribution center level, maintaining compliance with financial processes and policies, and providing financial visibility and recommendations that support business decision-making. The position also acts as a financial advisor for DTS projects, implementations, audits, reconciliations, and process improvements.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Preferred advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), preferably within a traditional or distribution channel environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power Query.
- English proficiency.
- Strong capabilities in Data Analytics, Management Reporting & Analysis, and Collaborating & Partnering.
- Demonstrated competencies in Drive for Results, Action Oriented, and Planning.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Ensure financial transactions are processed accurately and on time for the DTS P&L at the distribution center level.
- Ensure compliance with financial processes and policies, including order-to-cash and account assignment procedures.
- Evaluate and recommend operational improvements from a financial perspective through reconciliations, audits, and process reviews.
- Act as a financial advisor for DTS projects, implementations, and additional business requirements.
- Build and track the Year-End Estimate by P&L line for each distribution center, partnering with cross-functional teams to achieve annual targets.
- Execute period-end closing activities, including management reporting, business insights, ad hoc analyses, and stakeholder requests.
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses in response to market situations, including innovation feasibility assessments.
- Partner with sales and logistics teams to develop financial estimates and improve visibility into business performance.
- Support governance and control by identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting accuracy.
