We are establishing a new Guidance Algorithms team within the Software R&D department, focused on developing the next generation of autonomous navigation, guidance, and mission-planning capabilities for our drone platforms.

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated Drone Guidance Algorithms Developer to join our growing algorithms team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize real-time guidance and navigation algorithms for autonomous UAV systems operating in dynamic and GNSS-denied challenged environments.

You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams including flight control, perception, simulation and embedded software engineers to bring advanced autonomy capabilities from concept to operational deployment.

This is an opportunity to have direct impact on the core autonomy stack of operational drone systems used worldwide.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced drone guidance, navigation, and trajectory-planning algorithms
  • Develop real-time autonomous decision-making and path optimization solutions
  • Implement and improve motion planning, obstacle avoidance, and target tracking algorithms
  • Work on multi-sensor fusion and localization solutions
  • Analyze flight data and improve system performance through simulation and field testing
  • Collaborate with software, robotics, and system engineers across the autonomy stack
  • Participate in architecture design and technical decision-making for next-generation autonomy capabilities
  • Optimize algorithms for real-time embedded environments
  • Support integration, debugging, and validation during flight tests
Requirements
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field
  • Strong background in robotics, autonomous systems, or guidance/navigation algorithms
  • Experience developing algorithms in C++ and/or Python
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Experience with trajectory planning, optimization, estimation, or control systems
  • Familiarity with ROS2, simulation environments, and Linux-based development
  • Ability to work independently and drive complex technical tasks
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
