Profile Requirements:
- Minimum 2.5 years of proven experience in drafting, technical drawing, document preparation, or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce highly accurate work.
- Comfortable learning new software and internal systems.
- Excellent written English communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Powerpoint and PDF editing tools.
- Experience with AutoCAD or other drafting software is advantageous but not essential.
Core responsibilities:
- Prepare and update evacuation diagrams for commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and public facilities.
- Produce emergency procedure manuals and supporting documentation in accordance with Australian standards and client requirements.
- Convert site plans, floor plans, and building information into clear, accurate emergency planning documentation.
- Utilise the client's proprietary software, templates, and drafting tools to produce consistent deliverables.
- Review plans for completeness, accuracy, and compliance before submission.
- Maintain organised digital records and document version control.
- Liaise with the Australian team to clarify project requirements and incorporate feedback.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve drafting efficiency and documentation quality.
