JOB DESCRIPTION:
The primary responsibility of the Downhole Tool Supervisor is responsible for leading and building a team to optimize all aspects of the sales process within the organization. This role not only is responsible for the operations of our downhole tool services in the field, but also involves developing, implementing, and continuously improving sales processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and revenue generation. This position works closely with sales leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to streamline operations, drive productivity, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage current customer relations, promoting all Thru Tubing services.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations within the field.
  • Pulling proper tools needed for each job.
  • Operating downhole tools from start to finish on each job.
  • Creating and organizing the proper paperwork including tickets for every job.
  • Submitting proper paperwork upon completion of each job.
  • Transportation of tools and motors to and from jobs and to designated area after completion of jobs.
  • Generate revenue within the Completion market.
  • Develop business opportunities with new vendors and customers in the market.
  • Improve customer relationships with both an emphasis in and focus on excellent customer service.
  • Communicate with all thru tubing employees during jobs to assist in on site decision making.
  • Read all ETR reports (End of Tower) and provide feedback aiding team decision making.
  • Develop customer sales strategies and promote these strategies within the Thru Tubing division.
  • Maintain current vendor relations as well as explore alternative 3rd party opportunities to expand product line and ensure maximum profitability and growth for DNOW and our customers.
  • Manage vendor pricing negotiations.
  • Lead communication between customer and thru tubing management to ensure maximum efficiency in job planning and organization.
  • Participate in all required divisional and DNOW related meetings and events.
  • Obtain and maintain current information on customer pricing structures.
  • Work with management creating competitive customer bids.
  • Present bids to projective customers.
  • Initiate sales calls and meetings to increase our customer base.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Downhole Tools, fully functioning in both coil and work over applications.
  • Downhole Fishing experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to motivate and influence people.
  • Organizing, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused team player.
