What you will do:
The Data Analyst will support reporting, data analysis, and data quality initiatives within the Telecom environment. The role requires strong database knowledge, working familiarity with Power BI, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
Reporting & Dashboard Support:
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI to monitor telecom KPIs and operational performance.
Data Analysis & Extraction:
Extract, transform, and analyse data from OSS systems, telecom platforms, and databases to support business and network teams.
Database Operations:
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries in relational databases to support reporting and reconciliation requirements.
Data Quality Management:
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes.
Scripting & Automation:
Use Python (basic to intermediate level) for data processing, simple automation, and analytical tasks.
Platform Environment:
Work within Linux/Unix environments for data extraction, log analysis, and operational support activities.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with OSS teams, network teams, and business stakeholders to understand KPIs and reporting requirements.
The skills you bring:
• Working knowledge of Power BI (dashboard creation, basic DAX, data modelling concepts)• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python (data manipulation, scripting)• Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL or similar)• Understanding of data quality, reconciliation, and validation processes• Familiarity with Linux/Unix (basic commands, file handling, logs)• Good communication skills (verbal and written)• Basic understanding of Telecom KPIs and OSS data flows• 2-4 years of experience in Telecom Data Analysis, OSS Reporting, or related roles• Experience working with telecom operational or performance data• Ability to independently handle reporting and data analysis tasks• Basic understanding of telecom IT/OSS architecture
