We are seeking a talented individual to join our Oliver Wyman technology team. This role will be based in Cluj, Romania. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

This hub is central to our digital strategy, addressing emerging challenges and enhancing service delivery through advanced technology solutions that empower our clients and promote sustainable growth.

As Domain Leader you will be accountable for overseeing the successful delivery of a global portfolio of change and improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery across multiple teams. This role leads regional teams, manages detailed roadmaps for the global operating model, and drives transformative change aligned with organizational objectives..

We will count on you to: 

  • Lead and manage direct reports in executing the Practices at a regional level while owning the comprehensive global operating model roadmap for the function;

  • Participate in leadership of cross-functional programs including strategic initiatives such as Global Diversity & Inclusion;

  • Review analysis and recommendations for improvement from business and regional management, engage stakeholders globally, and prepare business cases for approval by the global head;

  • Oversee ongoing global efficiency programs, including financial and headcount savings reporting for presentation to senior global leadership;

  • Direct the Business Management team in detailed planning, execution, and monitoring of regional programs, ensuring delivery against objectives, milestones, KPIs, risk management logs, and financial impact;

  • Ensure successful execution of programs by deploying appropriate resources from deskside or practice teams and meeting targets established by the Global Head;

  • Manage global budgets and expenditures across all cost centers, communicate financial results and cost drivers to leadership, oversee resource planning, and represent the Enterprise Technology at a global level;

  • Foster partnerships with senior business and enterprise technology leaders to maintain strong engagement frameworks and promote key services globally;

  • Oversee internal communications across the organization, including managing the global Town Hall schedule and consolidating project demand;

  • Control and direct the Business Management function globally including line management of regional Technology Business Managers; allocate resources and assign tasks to meet delivery targets;

  • Lead the successful implementation of the global Operations Practice framework and coordinate virtual teams operating across multiple global locations to ensure consistency and drive economies of scale;

  • Develop and enforce global strategies, resource plans, and governance mechanisms that ensure adherence to operational policies and performance targets across the organization;

  • Actively collaborate with HR, Finance, and other corporate functions to foster effective cross-functional partnerships;

  • Provide mentoring and coaching within the team, supporting professional growth within a defined management framework;

Delivery Leadership & Client Focus:

  • Own the timely delivery of initiatives and software solutions for client teams; collaborate with multi-disciplinary technology teams including Technical Product Managers, Architecture, Security & Risk, Infrastructure Shared Services, Product Owners, and Business SMEs;

  • Serve as Delivery Lead for complex Enterprise Technology processes that directly impact client experience with technology and services; support key firm-wide events such as conferences and offsites;

  • Lead joint initiatives with other technology functions to identify gaps in delivery models and recommend improvements or investments;

  • Develop and maintain a service catalog for client teams utilizing cloud and other technology services;

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of client team requests and incidents, working closely with Enterprise Technology and Marsh Technology;

  • Design and monitor client initiative-related dashboards and scorecards to track delivery performance and satisfaction with technology services;

What you need to have:  

  • 15+ years of enterprise-level leadership experience;

  • Minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles reporting directly to C-Suite executives;

  • 10 years experience and proven track record of AI, software, cloud migration in large scale organization and technology modernization initiatives at scale in large enterprises;

  • Strong consulting background within top-tier firms or complex organizations;

  • Software Engineering degree;

  • Product-oriented mindset with expertise across the full product lifecycle and a keen focus on enterprise-wide impact and customer experience;

  • Exceptional skills in planning, process establishment, and driving operational excellence;

  • High energy, enthusiasm, and confidence to motivate teams and navigate large, complex organizations;

  • Expertise in stakeholder management, relationship building, expectation setting, and use of metrics to align teams and leadership
